I love Jack! His whole interview is book-focused, it’s adorable. LOL at showing a pic of Paul Mescal from Hament for “Shakespeare”

Excellent selection, he would have made a marvelous teacher.

I love this journalist, he always has great questions and seems to do a lot of research on who he’s interviewing. Giving how shit interviewers seem to be these days, he’s a rare one.

He really knows his stuff! Wish we got more interviews like these.

The Claire Keegan ones are both less than 130 pages too so relatively quick reads! Would def recommend

I irrationally hate Jack Edwards but it’s a good question and a good answer from Cillian.

My low stakes conspiracy theory is that no-one has ever actually read Ulysses. Lots of people have claimed they’ve read it, but none of them can disprove each other about the content because that might reveal that they haven’t read it.
And the longer I insist on this, the more annoyed people who claim to have read Ulysses get and that just makes the whole thing even funnier to me.
(Dubliner’s was part of my degree reading, Ulysses was optional which was good because I found it impenetrable)

I was not expecting to see Jack interviewing Cillian
