Honestly, Megan would probably piss the grabber off on another level. I feel like she would rage bait him, you know? Yeah, rage bait. 10 out of 10 rage bait. 10 out of 10 rage baiters. She’s pretty good at it. So, she is pretty good at it. Here you go. Hi, I’m Maline McGrath from Black Phone 2 and I’m Violet McGrath from Megan 2.0. We’re answering questions from the Confession Cube or as it’s called today, the dread box. We’ll be answering questions inspired by Black Phone 2 and Megan 2.0. From haunted calls to killer code, let’s see what horrors are hiding inside. Okay, first question. Be honest. Between the two of you, who would survive longer in a horror movie and why? Maddie is so annoying in these like scary situations. Like, she’s so annoying. She I’m the brave one, but I feel like the brave ones die in horror movies. Okay, but in a real life situation, I would literally like I could I could kill someone. If I had to like in a life or death situation, you I would and here’s my thing. I feel like I would be looking out for her so much that I would just sacrifice myself for her. Where’s that in haunted houses? Cuz I think that’s fake for you. That’s fake though. There’s a difference. Okay, then I guess we’ll save her. Yeah, I would survive. Next question. If Megan called the grabber, what would their conversation sound like? Oh, shoot. She would be like, “Hey, what’s up? Or like I’ll I’ll murder you or kill you, something like that. And the grabber would be like honestly Megan would probably piss the grabber off on another level. Like I feel like she would I feel like she would rage bait him, you know? Yeah. Rage bait. 10 out of 10. Rage bait. 10 out of 10. Rage bait her. She’s pretty good at it. So she is pretty good at it. There you go. Which horror villain would you rather babysit? Megan on low battery or the grabber without a mask? Um easily Megan. The grabber is terrified. She’s so creepy. Spoilers. So, Megan, I feel like is really fun at times. For sure. It depends on if you’re on her good side, but on low battery, honestly, she’d probably be pretty grumpy. I don’t know. I don’t know. I feel like or she’d just be really tired. Hurt you. Yeah. Never in a million years would I ever choose to babysit the grabber. He would murder me. Megan can dance. The grabber can disappear. What would your horror villain power be? Ooh. Ooh. I God, horror villain. That’s a really good question. Disappearing is a pretty good power. I probably I was going to say like invisibility I wouldn’t want to dance cuz that’s I mean clearly it works though. Megan has a strategy and it works flawlessly. May I add though? I’ve always wanted to be invisible as like a power. I feel like teleportation as a horror villain. You could just kill like everyone and then disappear and teleport back into your like secret base or hideout or basement. If Black Phone 2 and Megan 2.0 had a crossover, what would the title be? We got to think this through. Wait, how have we not thought of this? Everyone talks to us about crossover. You’re like, which would literally probably never work ever in a million years. They would need a time machine. What would the title be? Oh gosh. The pink phone. That is literally the AI phone or something. Or wait, that would literally just You’re not naming it that pink phone. Are you joking? I don’t know. I’m trying to think of like um like things that Megan likes. Um the dancing phone. The dancing. The doll phone. The doll phone. I mean that’s Let’s go with the doll. I think you like the pink phone. The pink phone and like it’s kind of cute. It’s kind of campy. Yeah. The pink phone. That’s the name for now. It’s a working title. Next question. Megan or the Grabber. Who’s scarier to face in a dark room? The Grabber. The Grabber is so scary. Megan’s voice would not scare me. I I feel like Okay, here’s the thing. Megan, because she’s like a doll, she’s kind of less intimidating, but the grabber is like a terrifying man. So, yeah, he’s quite Yeah, I’ll say the grabber, too. Yeah. And the grabber does more horrible things. Pick your fighter. Finn’s phone cord or Megan’s titanium arm. Easily Megan’s titanium arm. Like that is not going to help you. No competition. Megan could literally annihilate someone. So that one that one was easy. That’s a violent one. Gwen from Black Phone 2 and Katie from Megan team up. Who’s the leader and who breaks the rules? That’s actually a difficult question. Katie does Aikido now. She can she knows how to fight a badass. Gwen in the first movie though, like she knows how to fight, but not like Gwen is Katie would definitely be the more like critical thinker and then Gwen would be the and smart. She’s she’s been raised by her aunt who really does. Very techy. So I would say I’m the leader. You’re the break the rules. Break the rules. That was a good question. That was a good question. I got this box. One of you gets a mysterious call from an unplugged phone. And the other finds a text from an unknown number that just says, “I see you.” Who checked it first? The text message first. I feel like you wouldn’t answer the phone. None of us would answer the phone. The phone would be scared. Have we seen Scream, guys? We don’t answer. Come on. Have we learned the lessons from the We hang up immediately. Um, and then I see you. That’s terrifying. That is terrifying. See you though, or are you just saying that and then you want us to call you? I would immediately report the number and block it. And then if it kept responding, then I would, you know, notify the authorities. That’s pretty good. Okay. Okay. That’s horrifying, though. Yeah, I agree. I’d want to cry. The Grabber leaves you clues through dream sequences. Well, Megan sends encrypted messages to your smartwatch. Which one do you trust? Well, Megan’s my bestie, so I don’t think she would backstab me through your smartwatch, too. It’s like a message. The grabber sending you dreams. Like, what? What do you mean? I’m not trusting him. Like he’s a serial killer. Yeah, exactly. But Megan is kind of too. Megan is a murderer. It’s hard to like They’re both up there. Um, no. I’m gonna say Megan because even though Megan still might also dreams are a little iffy, hard to understand, and hard to navigate. So, I’m going to go with You’re in a like if the grabbers in the like get me out of the dream. That is a nightmare. That is a nightmare at that point. Both your movies have creepy masks or dolls. What’s something from your own childhood that freaked you out but wasn’t supposed to be scary? That’s a really good question. Do you remember the John Wayne doll? Yes. That we had that was lowkey. No, that was pretty that was pretty terrifying. I’m trying to I said this in an interview before, but you guys know those like hot water bottles when you’re like cold and it has like the neck kind of thing. It’s like the neck scared you. Oh my god. What is wrong with you? No, cuz it used to look like like a just a neck and then a like a little body. That is so weird. I’m sorry. It said childhood things, Maddie. That doesn’t still scare me. That is that’s a really weird fear. And then our vacuum used to be cuz I would always think it was a person. I’m going to go with garbage disposals. I’m still terrified of them. Like I even with the sound like going, I feel like my hand is near it. So I just I can’t like I stay be afraid of hot water bottles. So it’s okay. I mean I have the right to be afraid of a garbage disposal. Are you still afraid? Yes, bro. Oh, those are terrifying. You’re trapped in a in a snowman cabin and hear a child’s laughter echoing outside. Do you investigate or lock the doors? We do not lock the doors. We do not investigate. I am these kind of situations. See, this is where horror movies I can’t relate to them. Why are we going towards the scary laughter? Why? Why are we going towards Why are we going to dark basement laughter? Why are we going into the dark? Why are we going towards a really scary looking van with a magician in front? Like that’s just it’s just not something you do. So really the solution is leave the cabin and burn it. Light it on fire. It’s the only way. Next question. Next question. The black phone rings one last time. You have one minute to deliver a message to the next generation of horror fans. What do you say? Oo. Like horror fans in general. I would say keep obviously going into movie theaters and seeing movies because that there’s no better way to do it. Um on the loudspeakers everything is 10 times more scary especially on a big screen. Um and yeah continue to be like the awesome loyal fan base that you guys are cuz we love you guys. We think you’re so cool. Horror fans are awesome and it’s funny because you know they all watch movies like terrify and stuff and then you meet them in real life and it’s like the biggest teddy bears. Um and so yeah and you know horror movies take the most risks and so we appreciate the audiences that go and see them. That was the confession cube or should we say the dread box.
