Hailey Bieber Reacts to Being “Pitted Against Other People” | E! News
Haley Bieber isn’t worried about competition. The supermodel opens up about her mega successful beauty brand in a new interview with the Wall Street Journal. And when asked about chatter of a rivalry between Haley’s brand and Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez, who of course previously dated Haley’s husband, Justin Bieber, the Wall Street Journal noting that Haley opts to skip the question. However, later in the interview, the model addresses competition, saying, “It’s always annoying being pitted against other people. I didn’t ask for that.” When people want to see you a certain way and they’ve made up a story about you in their minds, it’s not up to you to change that. Of course, in 2022, Haley and Selena previously came together to shut down speculation of any kind of bad blood between the two, posing together at an LA event. And it seems like Haley’s using the crowded beauty space as inspiration for her entrepreneurial spirit. She tells the journal, “I think there is space for everybody.
