Jennifer Lawrence’s Rainy Day Look Includes an Ultra Rare $8,000 Version of This Iconic Handbag
Jennifer Lauren Day look includes an ultra rare $8,000 version of this iconic handbag. Her secondhand satchel is peak quiet luxury. Jennifer Lawrence was spotted in NYC on Monday, October 13th. She paired a Lumare bomber jacket with jeans and a vintage Hermes purse. The Kelly Monaco is worth thousands on the resale market. Jennifer Lawrence just stepped out with the OG version of Hermes’s iconic Kelly bag, and it very well could be the next vintage grail. On Monday, the actress was spotted in New York City, where she accessorized her rainy day look with the ultra rare purse. Lawrence modeled a Lumare leather bomber jacket, adding straight leg jeans and a pair of Heaven mayhem sunnies. She also sported the rose black leather boots, a cozy neutral scarf, and a Y collection 18K yellow gold and emerald signate ring. The Hermes Kelly, named for actress Grace Kelly, was first introduced by the brand in the 1930s. Previously called the Sack Adepesh, it was officially rebranded as the Kelly in 1977. Lawrence’s vintage version of the bag looks slightly different from its current iteration. Typically referred to as the Monaco, it retails for around $8,000 resale. Lauren Lawrence loves an unexpected outfit combo, so it’s no surprise that she broke an unspoken fashion rule in NYC last month. The Oscar winner dawned sandals despite the fact that it’s officially fall. She paired the summery choice of shoe, a toe loop sandal by the row with baggy ripped jeans, a white t-shirt, and a baseball cap. Lawrence also accessorized with a gold Sophie Boohai necklace, Ray-B band frames, and a studded Gimagu handbag. Back in July, the Dye My Love star co-signed a major Y2K trend, layering a skirt over pants. Lawrence sported a lace trimmed slip with cropped red satin bottoms, adding a classic white t-shirt on top. She added on a statement pendant necklace, Ray-B band shades, and a Ralph Lauren cap. A suede tote by Little Lifner and simple Havana completed her look. Wearing skirts or dresses over pants was all the rage in the 2000s with stars including Gwen Stefani, Nicole Reachi, and Britney Spears trying out the unconventional styling trick.
