Kim Kardashian is turning heads in her latest look. On October 18th, the Kardashian star steps out at the 2025 Academy Museum Gala where she looks almost unrecognizable as she dons a nude Mason Margela gown and matching face mask. And at the event, Kim shared with Variety that she actually had full glam on underneath the headpiece, saying, “You know, I love Margella. I flew in my favorite makeup artist, Mario, from New York, and this is kind of a last minute thing, so I’m sure he’s not so happy with it. Kim then said that she was actually drawn to the look because it looked very quote ski. When the Margela Couture show came out, I saw this look and I was like, that is so skins to me. And for the questions everyone wants to know, can she see? Yes. Is it hot? No. And how does she eat? Well, she makes sure to eat before the event, but can take it off when she wants a bite later. Of course, this is not the first time the Skims founder has stepped out with a face mask as she previously wore a black headtotoe look at the 2021 Met Gala, which she later revealed she was originally opposed to, telling Vogue in 2022, “I fought against it. I was like, I don’t know how I could wear the mask. Why would I want to cover my face?” But she explained her team told her, quote, “This is a costume gala. This is not a Vanity Fair party. There’s a theme and you have to wear the mask. This is the look. [Music] [Music]
