Lukas Gage admits he lost job opportunities from getting married on the ‘The Kardashians’ #shorts

getting married on a reality show is like a lot of people are like, “Oh, you’re doing it for the clout. You’re doing it to get jobs.” And I’m like, you don’t see the behind the scenes stuff, which I talk about in the book of like, no, that was like actually jeopardizing some of the opportunities that were coming my way and like was a hindrance of letting people get lost in the character or me as an actor or, you know, it took precedent over all the work I had done with just the personal headlines and then you’re just suddenly like, you’re not an actor, you’re a public, you know, figure that’s like kind of reality adjacent and and it it was just like it’s hard to to get past that for for like on the industry stand uh stance of it. But um yeah, I think at the time it was funny and I’m sure there was a part of me that wanted validation.
