Sabrina Carpenter’s most controversial ‘SNL’ moments — including two f-bombs

Who’s excited to get this girl boss party started? Yeah, go off. Queen Leicia. Sabrina Carpenter brought the girl boss energy to SNL as both host and musical guest on the October 18th episode, but in a few spots, she may have girl boss too close to the sun. Here are the moments everyone’s talking about. The 5- foot zero singer returned for the fan favorite Domingo sketch starring SNL short king Marcelo Hernandez. The two sparked dating rumors last year and he even popped up on her short and sweet tour as one of her sexy celebrity arrestes. My name is You sure are gorgeous. I’m getting so flustered. However, some haters noted on social media that the recurring sketch has gotten tired. It wasn’t that funny before and now two of the women who were in the original sketches aren’t even there anymore. It’s true the original viral bridesmaid speech sketch which aired on October 19th, 2024 featured Heidi Gardner and Ego Wodm, two SNL veterans who did not return following the season 51 cast Bloodbath. New York-based drag queen and cabaret actor Marsha Marsha Marsha took it further, tweeting, “So there are only white women on SNL now. If you watch the show live, you might have also caught this next one. Sabrina dropping not one but two f-bombs during her performance of Nobody’s Son. [Music] Viewers quickly jumped on it, saying, “Sabrina saying uncensored live on SNL is killing me. Oh, NBC about to be fined so bad for letting Sabrina say two whole times on SNL.” While it wasn’t immediately clear if the FCC will take action, the expletives played during the live NBC telecast and the Peacock Simocast. They were later censored during the West Coast airing and on YouTube. Sabrina’s martial arts themed performance also drew a jab from fellow singer Reena Sawyama. Big love to Sabrina, but fellow artists creative teams. If we are clearly referencing a culture, please can you do so with the research, respect, and care it deserves. Shoes on tatami is jail. One controversy that Sabrina happily leaned into her provocative hair pulling album art from Man’s Best Friend. In her opening monologue, she joked that the image was cropped and the original actually showed SNL star Bowen Yang and alum Martin Short hilarious. On air, the 26-year-old pop princess also defended her frisky reputation, saying, “Everyone thinks of me as this like horn dog pop star, but there’s really so much more to me. I’m not just horny, I’m also turned on and sexually charged, and I love to read. At the end of the day, SAB may have gained a few new fans. The teen host of the Maryland Food Boys podcast gave SNL a shout out after being spoofed on the show. So clearly, this sketch was fire, bro. Bet.

Sabrina Carpenter jokingly doubled down on her provocative image in her “Saturday Night Live” opening monologue.

“Since you’re here, I want to clear up some misconceptions people have about me,” the “Espresso” songstress told the audience.
