Food Network Cancels ‘The Kitchen’ After 40 Seasons | E! News

The Kitchen is set to plate its last meal. The Food Network announces that the weekend talk show hosted by Sunny Anderson, Jeff Marorrow, Jeffrey Zakarian, and Katie Lee will end in December. After 12 years on the air, revealing on Instagram after 40 unforgettable seasons with over 500 episodes, The Kitchen will officially come to an end on Saturday, December 13th. We’re immensely grateful to our hosts, crew, guests, and most of all our loyal viewers for 10 plus incredible years. Katie, who has been a host of the series since his 2014 premiere, looked back at her time on The Kitchen as an honor, sharing in an Instagram story, “It’s the end of an era. Thank you so much to all of our fans. The kitchen was the greatest professional honor of my life, and I will be forever grateful.” Frequent guest and fellow Food Network star Chef Mark Murphy reacted to the news, writing in the comments, “Guys, congrats on an incredible show. One of my favorites to watch and to be part of.” And Sunny’s Drew Barrymore Show co-star Ross Matthews also weighs in on the show’s legacy, gushing, “I love this show and everyone on it. What great work you all did. Congrats to each of you and to the incredible team behind the scenes. Bravo.
