Since Princess Charlotte is a soccer superfan, Prince William snagged a special gift for his daughter from the Lionesses team.

Lionesses player Lucy Bronze revealed that Princess Charlotte’s love of soccer might have started when she was really young.
“I remember when Charlotte was born, we had a little England Lionesses kit made for her, and we gave it to Prince William when he came to St George’s Park to meet us,” Bronze told Hello!.
“It’s been nice to watch her grow up as well, and knowing that we’ve tried to impact like little girls like Charlotte in England and empower them to do whatever they want when they’re older,” Lucy Bronze continued.
Prince William, who is the patron of the U.K.’s Football Association, often attends Lionesses games with Princess Charlotte.
“He’s been to almost every pre-camp, and he always comes and says good luck to us in person,” Lucy Bronze said, noting that she has a “personal connection” with William and “it’s always nice to have a little chat” when he meets with the group.
After the Lionesses 2025 win, Prince William shared a celebratory note from Princess Charlotte.
“What a game! @Lionesses, you are the champions of Europe and we couldn’t be prouder of the whole team. Enjoy this moment @england, W & Charlotte,” the future king wrote in a social media post.
In 2022, Prince William gave the Lionesses a special message from Princess Charlotte.
“Charlotte wanted me to tell you that she is really good at goal. She said, ‘Please tell them that,'” he told the team. “She’s a budding star for the future.”
