Kevin Federline Shares Jamie Lynn Spears’ Alleged Texts About Britney | E! News
Kevin Federline is detailing his relationship with ex-wife Britney Spears’s family. In his new memoir, You Thought You Knew, the former dancer shared two lengthy text messages his wife, Victoria Prince, allegedly received from Britney’s sister, Jaime Lynn Spears, after Britney’s controversial conservatorship was terminated in November 2021. In one message, Jaime Lynn appears to share her feelings on Britney’s relationship towards her and Kevin’s sons, Shawn Preston and Jaden James. According to a copy of the book obtained by E-News, the text allegedly from Jaime Lynn to Victoria said, quote, “Honestly, this makes me want to cry because I feel for those boys so much. I’m her little sister by 10 years, and I can’t imagine what her actual children must feel like at times, but I am familiar with the feeling of being a dinghy trying to survive in a wave caused by another ship, feeling like you have to rescue yourself.” According to Kevin, the Zoey 101 alum accused her sister of being incapable of taking accountability for certain circumstances. The alleged text continues, quote, “I’m still trying to come to terms with how she could be so unaware of anything outside of herself. I spent my whole life based around what was best for Britney, and I never wanted to step on any toes as a little sister. So, I quietly built my own life and career. I tried to be supportive, but in a way that was healthy for my own well-being.” Later, Victoria, who married the former backup dancer in 2013, allegedly received a second message from Jaime Lynn thanking them for raising the boys. The alleged texts read in part, quote, “Any parent who’s actually raised their children knows that raising kids is the toughest job on earth, and you both are raising those boys and their siblings while also having to constantly protect and shield them from so much chaos that no one would ever understand unless they live through it.” E-news has reached out to Jaime Lynn’s rep for comment, but has not yet heard back. Ahead of the book’s release, Britney issued a lengthy statement accusing Kevin of constant gaslighting, which she called quote extremely hurtful and exhausting. [Music]

Federline and Jamie Lynn are disgusting. Neither would be known if it wasn’t for Britney! They both have financially benefited off of her and both wanted the conservatorship going so they could keep collecting! I really like Jamie Lynn and her words are full of kindness, empathy, & healing. ❤️ I enjoyed her audiobook, it helped me have an awe ha moment about my own life. Looking forward to his audio book too. Every one deserves to use their voice. Britney is not the only person with a voice & life here. Kindness & healing to all esp the children 🌺🌈
All I know is this is low even for Federline. An upright person would be respectful of the mother of his children especially since she has struggled her whole life with leaches to include him. He might love his boys but he's not hero.
