TV personality Narinder Kaur has called for GB News to be “shut down” following its coverage of Meghan Markle. Her remarks came in response to presenter Nana Akua, who suggested that King Charles should strip the Duchess of Sussex of her royal title, just as Prince Andrew was stripped of his.
Andrew relinquished his remaining royal titles and honours, including his Duke of York title, after renewed scrutiny over his ties to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and his alleged links to a Chinese spy.
During her GB News programme, Nana, 54, argued that Meghan deserved the same treatment, criticising the former Suits actress for discussing her busy working life on social media. “Seriously,” she said, “the most work she probably has to do each day is decide what designer gear to wear.”
Nana then shifted the discussion to Prince Andrew’s decision to give up his royal title, pointing out that Sarah Ferguson had also lost hers, the Express reports. Reflecting on the issue, she said: “That’s exactly what the King should do with Prince Harry, so Meghan Markle would no longer hold the title of Duchess of Sussex.”
“I believe she’s unlikely to visit, by all accounts she’s refused to step foot in the UK ever again. I’m not even sure she actually knows where Sussex is,” she continued.

The comments sparked outrage from Jeremy Vine and Good Morning Britain panellist Narinder Kaur, who took to X (formally known as Twitter) to criticise Nana and GB News.
She wrote: “Utterly DISGRACEFUL @Nanaakua1 A TV channel more obsessed with Harry and Meghan and their titles than what Andrew is involved in ..than actually seeking justice for victims of child sexual abuse. Sickening. They should be shut down. @GBNEWS.”
Many of Narinder’s followers backed her comments. As one person wrote: “She’s obsessed. Yet trying to deflect the news that all newspapers are talking about, the vile paedophile at the heart of the Royal Institution. Beggars belief.”
While another commented: “That gross woman is more obsessed with taking away Meghan’s title than the dude who is alleged to be a rapist and is known to be pals with child traffickers. So disgusting.”

However, others sided with Nana’s comments, with one person stating: “Well said Nana. Markle got nothing apart from the titles. Together with Harold they are jobless their only income is selling lies about the Royal Family and living off the titles.”
A second agreed, penning: “From your mouth to God’s and the King’s ears. She has no hesitation about criticising anyone, but is too thin skinned to hear criticism of any kind, constructive or objective.”
