It’s wild that this is the conversation vs. methane being spewed into the air and precious water being wasted. AI’s not sustainable, it costs so much money and resources and it doesn’t generate enough to justify it. This weird Sci-Fi fantasy of our robot overlords isn’t the thing. It’s that we’re speed running a water crisis to make summaries of stuff we could have read ourselves.
There are little to no reason that A.I. should be used by every day people. Extrapolating information from a search engine is not that difficult.
The tech bros want to rule the world and A.I. is the way they are trying to do it.
