Did Blake Lively or her lawyers edit the audio tape of Claire Abe trying to make it look like Blake Lively is less guilty? [Applause] Welcome to Popcorn Planet. I am Andy Signor. Man, I had a lot of shots cuz we just watched the full 38 minutes of this audio cla to give you as much of the benefit of the doubt as I could, but it was rough. this uh Steve Sowitz Claire Abe recording that we still don’t know if it was legally recorded. Uh this this was supposed to be the evidence that makes it look like Blair that Blake won and that the whole case should be dismissed. I’m sorry. The whole audio together proves that there’s really nothing negative about Justin. In fact, Kim Cla says I think it’s three times confirms and and agrees with Steve about how nice Justin is. It’s bizarre. But there’s one part specifically that as we played it again, we noticed this as well as did Reddit. It ends with lawsuits. Let’s play this little bit here and and see what you guys if you notice it. There was a point where they were trying to slam the buy faith. He he got that done and out. So, you know, basically who was was it Sony or was it public? Yikes. That’s icky. That’s icky. Oh, they they they went after everything we had. Luckily, did you guys notice there was no sort of response, but she responded anyway. And there wasn’t even really like a Usually if it’s on Zoom, you hear like a the like a clip or something when Kim cuts out. You guys can know you can hear it. Anybody who’s really good and I’m I can hear them. You can hear like a drop and I didn’t hear it drop. I did not hear it drop. That just sounded like they cut it. No, basically. Who was Was it Sony? Who was Who said that? She thinks it’s Sony. No, girl. It’s Blake. That’s you fa to accept. Or or did you know cuz you went in doing this with Blake’s approval to try to catch Steve in in the act. Or was it public? Was it Sony? Was it the public? She can’t even like fathom that it could have been Blake. Yikes. That’s icky. That’s icky. Oh, now what’s icky? I hear I hear a little thud in that se that section with my headphones on. Let’s We’ll be quiet. Boost your headphones. Here we go. Yikes. That’s icky. That’s public. Yikes. Public. Yeah, it’s there. It’s little and it’s fake. I don’t know what it is. Yikes. Now, to be clear, honestly, here here’s how you know it wasn’t a drop because look. Yikes. Was it Sony or was it It was Blake Lively. Yikes. Okay, so it could fit. The timing could work. It was Blake. There’s enough time there for him to respond. You know, basically who was Was it Sony or was it public? That was Blake. Yikes. That’s icky. Yikes. Public. Yikes. That’s it. Public. Yikes. That Yeah, cuz the public and the Yikes. There’s not enough room in there. So, if he overtalked the public I it sounds like potentially speculation what Red and others are saying. Did they cut that out to make it seem like she didn’t that he didn’t blame Blake? Which would have made Blake look more guilty? Kim, let’s be honest. Did they did the little piece of that get snipped out so when the playing was happen there was less and less of them acknowledging that Blake and her saying Blake was icky? Did Claire do that before? I don’t know. This this audio was held by multiple people, right? So, is this the full unedited? Did they check the metadata, etc., etc.? I’m sure it will as court proceeds, but I that sounds like a clip. That sounds like someone cut the moment, like not enough time to answer it. It sounds like an edit. It doesn’t sound like a dropped Steve because throughout the call, you can hear some moments where he does get dropped a bit and it doesn’t sound like that at all. So, I don’t know. It sounds like Claire is accusing Blake of being icky. Did you Did you do Do you agree, Kim? It’s It’s definitely awkward. I have to I mean, we do have to stress this is purely speculation. This is, you know, sleuths looking at things and going something’s weird about this. And I’m not going to lie, when I heard it the first time, too, I was like, that does seem strange. Now, there is mixing context. I assume if this was a video call, we don’t know any physical cues that potentially could have been given um by Steve or by Claire, and that could be additional context. So, I I don’t want to assume too much. I do hope that this audio is going to be um checked essentially unfortunately and this is I’m not accusing you know Blake and team of this but moving forward when you have audio files or even video files going into court with AI now things have to be so checked and not only that but doing edits on an audio file like this is not difficult and it can be edited to look seamless so I mean people are experts at it now and it really you don’t need need a really expensive program to be able to do it. So, this is kind of a bit of a scary situation. At the same time, I still stand by it that I don’t understand how this supports Blake’s argument for 47.1 because it had nothing to do with her set anything that potentially happened between Justin. Nothing in this audio file to me backs up her allegations that there was verbal a from Justin against her. I don’t understand what the point is of any of this. being brought forward. I want I want I want to replay this this one clip because it to to reaffirm your point. Was it a set that Brandon Slenar talked about? Brandon Slenar’s set was he didn’t complain honestly. It’s just it’s so tricky especially. Yeah. I don’t know. I don’t know cuz I again I wasn’t there so I don’t know what it was like. You were there. Was it bad? So she’s trying, she’s she’s so careful and like she won’t just believe him, right? She’s like, “Yeah, yeah, well, you know, I wasn’t there. I wasn’t there.” And then he’s like, “Well, I was.” And then she then finally asks like, “Oh, was it bad?” Like it but it does feel like there’s a little bit of like, “Well, I know you’re telling me nothing went wrong, but I wasn’t there, Steve, so I can’t tell you. I can’t tell.” But she won’t flat out like say it that much. But she’s like trying to and which makes me wonder was Blake involved in this like and sort of ask her to tape the phone call. Was this all intention? Part of me doesn’t believe that Kim because we watched the whole tape and you can watch the whole tape on our replay. You can watch the member replays. But as we watch this Kim it’s it’s brutal to go through because she never lets him get a word in edgewides. So that if she was really trying to get the dirt from him, you’d think she would ask more questions, right? But go ahead. You have something to say. It’s also very frustrating because it’s like I don’t know if she’s fishing because if we’re going to believe her declaration, she feels that there’s been this verbal a like against her from Justin and she’s trying to be like, “Oh, maybe that set was bad.” But again, there’s multiple times throughout this audio where Steve speaks very highly of Justin and she seems to be in agreement. There’s no push back of, you know, well, that wasn’t my experience and or anything like that. There’s just her saying like, “Yeah, you know, yeah, it’s it’s good. It’s good.” Like there there’s Which means that Steve as as a as a CEO or as a leader of a company can’t really address it because he doesn’t know that there’s a problem. I want to play that. You I just queued that up. Here’s example of that. Um and he Wow, what a gift. What a gift. The irony is Justin is just like that and and like you hear things in the and they’re talking about how great Rain Wilson is, how safe the set is, and then he goes, “Justin’s just like that.” and she goes, “Yeah.” And the other thing I think it’s really important with this audio to remember is it sounds like she recorded this because she was afraid that Wayfair was going to go back on their word about not having Justin be involved in the marketing. And at no point during this call did I ever get the vibe that Steve was getting ready to wrench Justin back in or to force her to do a type of marketing that she didn’t want to do. So much of this call is her talking about all the marketing that she is going to do and wants to do and he’s just like, “Okay, fill the seats.” Here’s the most egregious one. Here it is. Nothing’s nothing’s really hit our studio. You know, like it’s never like basically people love Justin and they still love Justin. Yeah, that’s good. That’s good. And if you meet Justin, how could you not love Justin? I know. But yeah, I’m I’m just I know. I know. They don’t have She literally says I know. And if you meet Justin, how could you not love Justin? I know. I know. I know. You know, confusing. Then why are we here? So confusing. Why are we here, Kim? I mean, we’re here because of 47.1. That’s why we’re here. And I don’t understand why it’s relevant, but that’s just me and I’m not a lawyer. Well, let’s let’s give Cla the benefit of the doubt. Let’s let’s see her popular series, a series of comebacks. One more episode. I I pulled a new one. We’re going to see if it’s funny. You ready? We haven’t watched this one. I can find another one. Kim, here we If someone suggests that you go on a diet, just say, “I’ll start by cutting you out of my life.” As I’ve said, I’m sure this is some people’s humor, but it isn’t mine. Someone tells you your dreams are too big, just saying, “Well, talking to you is a nightmare.” This isn’t my thing. That’s all. I got to say this was not a turn I thought that this this case was going to take. I didn’t think we would be here doing this, but here we are. Yeah. Well, there we go. There we go. Wow. Wow. I was trying to find a picture of them together. I can’t find this moment. But yeah, there’s a lot of pictures of Claire and at the screenings and uh I I’m confused, Claire. I’m confused. I’m confused by your your comedy. I really just struggle to understand. Is it comedy? Is it like a Are you trying to be cringe? I I’d love to know that. But more so, what did Justin do? What did Justin do? And did they edit it? Because that’s that’s very weird. Why is the part where they literally she agrees, yes, that’s icky. Yeah, Blake is icky. You’re right. So then why did you team up with her and give her this audio? And if he’s in Chicago, if if Steve’s in Chicago, if Illinois is a two-party state, did you get his permission to record this phone call? Where were you, Claire? H you prepared for that one? I’m very curious how that’s going to play out because if you recorded this illegally, well, that’s going to get you in some serious trouble. And I I hope uh I hope in that case Steve, you know, defends the studio just like he promised he would cuz that’s going to be real bad for Claire.
