Suni Lee Reacts to Criticism Over Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show Debut | E! News
Sunni Lee is clapping back at the haters. After the Olympic gymnast worked the runway at the Victoria’s Secret fashion show on October 15th, Sunni addresses the negative comment she’s been receiving in a Tik Tok video posted on October 18th. In the clip, Sunni can be seen lip-syncing to the song Successful by Ariana Grande with the caption, “Can you guys stop bullying me?” In the comment section, many of the gymnast’s followers came to her defense. With one writing, “They’re mad jealous because a five- foot bdie got to be a BS model.” While another writes, “You were on the runway and they were mad and at home.” And after liking many of the comments, Sunni replies, “I love y’all, my girls.” The 22-year-old made her debut in the VSS fashion show last week, becoming one of the first ever athletes alongside WNBA star Angel Ree to grace the stage. Ahead of the night, the athlete spoke to Mary Cla about what it means to be taking part in such an iconic show, sharing, “Growing up, I didn’t see many girls who looked like me in spaces like this. To now be here as an athlete, as someone who worked so hard to achieve her dreams, it feels powerful. I want young girls to know they don’t have to fit into just one box. You can chase Olympic gold and still own your femininity.

What bullying? What did i miss? lol. I see more support for her than bullying? Im happy to see 5-foot girls walking down that runway. Super cool lol. But that doesn't make them models. They are just additional stars walking down the runway. We know who the real models are, lol. VS are being generous and letting other women walk down for them even if they are not models, but they are athletes thats cool too.
