Rumor has it that heartbreak has an expiration date – at least, according to Adele. #HotGoss #S2E06

Adele forgot the inspiration to one of her greatest albums of all time. A clip has been resurfacing from 2024 where Adele talked about the inspiration from her first album 19. My first album was mainly about one person, but I realized last week I don’t even remember his name. There I was so heartbroken in my life. I remember who I was crying about when I listened to those albums. If someone can break your heart like that to make you produce that kind of beautiful music, that kind of gut-wrenching, how can you ever forget about them? Clearly, life gets better. Adele doesn’t make music unless she is heartbroken. And selfishly, I’m ready for Adele to be heartbroken again. And not because I want her to be heartbroken, but because I need another album in front of you that I can cry about something to in my car. A PSA to Adele. We don’t want you to be heartbroken because we love you and we love to see you happy. But we do want you to be heartbroken because we love your music and clearly you only write great music when you are heartbroken. Is that too much to ask? Is that too much to ask Adele? When the rain is blowing in your face in the wind and there’s no words. So Adele, if you need backup singers, whatever it takes to get a new album, Adele, thank you so much. We love you. And if not, we’ll continue to listen to the past four. And we hope that you forget the names of all of your exes. I’m going to bless you. And may you forget the names of all your exes.
