Diane Kruger Shares Rare Update on Her & Norman Reedus’ Daughter Nova | E! News
Diane Krueger is sharing some rare insight into life with her daughter. The actress reveals in an exclusive interview with E-News October 24th that she is much more conscious of the role she takes on these days because of her six-year-old daughter Nova, whom she shares with longtime partner Norman Reedis. I am much more conscious today with the choice of of roles I take on and how I live my life. You know, I can’t teach her. I can only live by example. And obviously I grew up in a very different world uh than she ever will. So there’s a lot of stuff that will just be a given for her that I went through and I wouldn’t never tolerate that for my for my daughter. That’s why it was a no-brainer for her to join the cast of HBO Max’s The Seduction, a re-imagined prequel to Dangerous Liaons as Madame D. Rosa, who the 49-year-old describes as one of the first pioneers of women that decided to live their life like a man, saying alongside her co-star Anamaria Varolei, she was able to navigate the golden cage that was traditionally built by men for men and worked really well for men, make work for her. But I loved I loved portraying that rage inside of her of of trying to push those walls and and handing the baton to the next generation who will push further and and the next. So that was for me was the fun and the reason why I wanted to be part of it. Diane aims to pass on her character’s relentless spirit to her daughter. Hopefully she’ll watch this one day and be like, “You kicked ass, mom.” But she says Nova is already growing up to be quite the outspoken lady. She saw me in costume and she was like, “You look like from the olden days, mom. It’s it’s making you look old.” So, it’s definitely reality check there. The Seduction premieres on HBO Max November 14th.
