Diehard fans of the creative duo actor Emma Stone and Greek director uh lined up outside a cinema this week. But they were not just waiting to buy a ticket, rather a haircut. The cinematic bars for Emma Stone’s uh latest uh reached fever pitch this week as dedicated fans literally went under the clippers to secure a seat at an exclusive early screening known for their critically acclaimed and Oscar nominated hits like the favorite and poor things. They have cultivated a firm fan base eager to see their new project. Stone plays a powerful pharmaceutical CEO who was kidnapped by two conspiracy theory cousins. Convinced she is an alien, a conviction so strong it leads them to shave her head in the film. And embracing the film’s theme, the distributor of the movie announced a special early US screening nearly two weeks ahead of the white theatrical release. With a bizarre provision, only bald individuals would be granted entry. For those with hair, the solution was simple yet radical. A complimentary buzzcut provided by a barber stationed right in the cinema foyer. In fact, fans enthusiastically lined up for those unwilling to part with their hair.
