Singer Alexandra Kay is staying out of the Keith Urban and Maggie Ba narrative amid Keith’s ongoing divorce with Nicole Kidman. Alexandra addresses rumors that there’s something going on between the singer and his guitarist Maggie, telling Taste of Country, “I know that’s absolutely not true.” Honestly, I was heartbroken for them because the media scrutiny is insane and the things that people say, they’re like stirring up rumors about Maggie and I’m like, she’s a good friend of mine. The singer also notes that the guitarist is in a relationship with someone else, explaining she’s very happy. But that didn’t stop the rumor mill from churning, especially after a concert last month when videos captured and posted across social media showed Keith switching up the lyrics in his Nicole inspired song, The Fighter, to include a nod to Maggie. However, during a Nashville stop on his High and Alive tour, Keith issued this message to fans as cameras rolled, saying the lyrical changes are nothing more than that, adding stop reading into it.
