The leadership of the democratic party is more concerned about the groups/billionaires who are funding them than the opinion of their citizens. The supreme court is filled with MAGA supporting trash. Consider just how threatened they feel by Zohran’s incredibly measured, comparatively vanilla public investment proposals. Bland municipal ownership of a tiny sliver of market territory (food, transportation, housing) has them out for blood.
All because he wants to tax the rich??? They’re scared of how popular he is lol. And just think all he’s running for is NYC mayor!
