Reese Witherspoon Celebrates Wonderful Son Deacon’s 22nd Birthday

Reese Witherspoon is celebrating her older son on his special day. The morning show star shared a few snaps on her Instagram to commemorate her son Deacon’s 22nd birthday. Witherspoon, who shares her son with ex- Ryan Phillip, posted a solo shot of her son before adding a few selfies of the mother son Du throughout the years. She captioned the post, “Happy 22 to my wonderful son, Deacon Phillip. I love you so much, buddy.” The actress reshared her post onto her Instagram stories, reiterating her sweet wishes to her son. Happy 22nd birthday, Deacon,” she wrote in text over the image. In addition to Deacon, Witherspoon is a mother to daughter Ava Phillip with Phillip as well as son Tennessee James Tooff with her ex Jim Tooff. While balancing motherhood with the demands of her multifaceted career has certainly not been easy, Witherspoon says the sacrifices were truly worth it. The Legally Blonde alum said on the Drew Barrymore show, “There’s a lot of compromise. You feel like that’s what makes me wake up on a Sunday. It’s not movies or my job. It’s my kids. Being a mom is really great. It’s a big part of my life. I would say it’s the biggest part of my life. Last October, the mother son duo posed together on the red carpet of WSJ magazine’s 2024 Innovator Awards, which took place at the Museum of Modern Art. While on the red carpet, Witherspoon exclusively told that having her son by her side is so fun.
