Prince Andrew & Sarah Ferguson’s royal exit appears to be happening in real time as they negotiate a final deal with King Charles III, but there reportedly is a Prince Harry clause in the transaction.
In exchange for leaving the 30-room Royal Lodge, Andrew is asking for two residences: Frogmore Cottage and Adelaide Cottage, according to The Sun. The disgraced royal would live in Harry and Meghan Markle’s former U.K. home, while Ferguson would take over Adelaide Cottage once Prince William and Kate Middleton depart for their new home, Forest Lodge.

Still, there’s a catch to the negotiations when it comes to Andrew and Ferguson’s “fresh start.” The homes would be given to the former couple as long as they promise not to write a tell-all memoir like the Duke of Sussex did with Spare.

“Andrew won’t write a book like Spare. He has promised the King,” a palace insider claimed to the outlet. Ferguson would be the most likely suspect to write a memoir as she reportedly has been in “exploratory talks” to pen a new memoir.
“A lot has happened since her last memoir almost twenty years ago, such as having cancer twice and becoming a grandparent,” a second source said. “It is not designed to exonerate Andrew, but obviously, she would not be able to write him out of it, as he is an important part of her life. She couldn’t write a memoir without him being in it.”
What makes the home switch so mind-blowing is that Charles had been trying for years to get his younger brother to move out of Royal Lodge and into Frogmore Cottage. It took Virginia Giuffre’s posthumous memoir, Nobody’s Girl, to finally knock Andrew off his pedestal. The king tried to evict his sibling by cutting off his security and taking away his allowance, but Andrew kept finding ways to fund his lifestyle.
With the fallout continuing over the Jeffrey Epstein scandal, the world is hoping that those who were involved with the late pedophile will finally see some consequences. Prince Andrew and Ferguson are just the tip of the iceberg, but the palace knows everyone is watching their every move.
