    1. Love her picks and how they are mostly female-led movies.

      Also I am so jealous of Jason Ritter right now.

    2. No surprise, Melanie Lynskey’s knowledge and taste in films is as exquisite as she is. The Regina Hall praise is the cherry on top

    3. Classy movie-buff choices, and impressive to potentially come up with them on the spot.

      Here was me thinking Romy and Michelle, Clueless, The Sweetest Thing, and Gentlemen Prefer Blondes!

      She’s just like… the perfect human being and I’ve been in love with her as a fan for as long as I can recall, haha.

    5. **her picks:**

      * la ceremonie
      * set it off
      * walking and talking
      * tangerine
      * girls trip
      * support the girls

      Melanie knows ball, goddamn. Four flawless picks. Queen Latifah really is so incandescent in Set it Off (and radiantly gay. I see you, Melanie.)

      Melanie Lynsey loving Regina Hall is amazing. Support the girls is an amazing film btw everyone go watch

    9. Damn it’s so refreshing to have someone ask interesting and relevant questions instead of attempt to bait answers to go viral or ask about labubu’s or some dumb shit.

    10. Tangerine is such a beautiful film. And Set It Off is a classic. I’ll have to find the others to watch. “Unhinged Isabelle Huppert” is a pretty solid marketing hook.

      I love her mostly because she’s married to John Ritter’s son and he was my first celebrity crush. RIP John 🤍
