Dancing With the Stars’ Elaine Hendrix Speaks Out on Hospitalization | E! News

I want to dance. I want to keep doing this. Ela Hendris posting an emotional update from the hospital after she missed Dancing with the Stars Halloween episode. The actress is on the mend amid her surprising absence from the ballroom October 28th. She says in a video posted to her Instagram account, “Hi, so obviously I’m not in the ballroom. I injured my ribs during defying gravity and today they just seized up and I couldn’t move. Um, they brought me to the hospital. Alan is holding down the fort. He’s amazing. He’s awesome. I was so excited for this routine. You’ll get to see it in its rehearsal form. And that’s exactly what happened on the show. First, host Alfonso Rivero made an announcement about Elaine being MIA, while footage from Ela’s attempt on the dance floor showed her sobbing in pain. Now, as you probably noticed, Elaine Hris and Alan Buren are not here. She suffered an injury in rehearsal this morning. Right now, she’s at the hospital being assessed. They’re still in the competition and still need your votes. We’ll explain more later on. Later, as Elaine promised, the dancing competition showed the full footage from Elaine and Allen’s routine in rehearsal. Elaine and I were dancing and all of a sudden, Elaine kind of froze and said she can’t move and she can’t breathe and something happened with her rib. [Music] I feel like my muscle was twisted under my ribs. She’s in so much pain that I don’t know if we’re going to dance tonight. It’s just a lot of unknowns right now. I just hope this isn’t the end of Elaine’s dream to dance again. [Music] And the judges had nothing but wellw wishes for the celeb amid her injury with Keran Naba and guest judge Cheryl Burke rooting for a quick recovery. I’m a huge fan of Elaine and I do feel like previous weeks you guys have been underrated a little bit and I just want you to know that your partnership is beautiful to watch. That is amazing. She was looking hot and sexy and the chemistry was so real and passionate and she’s so strong and she’s such a warrior. She’s got to come back. And in the hospital, Elaine tells Instagram followers it’s looking good and the thought of not returning is bringing her to tears. I want to dance. I want to keep doing this.
