I have loved listening to their podcast for quite some time but find mysefl at a bit of a crossroads. Jennifer Welch recently defended Hassan Piker who has been accused of abusing dogs (both previous dogs and his current dog). She walked back a statement she made to Hassan about his dog’s collar being too tight and saying that the collar was choking the dog.
The way she is defending Hassan’s behavior is the same kind of “loyalty” she speaks against when it comes to the MAGA world. The defense of him just felt gross.
I love dogs and am a dog owner and watching videos of Hassan interact with his dog is stomach turning. I just can’t support the I’ve Had It Podcast if one of them is defending that behavior.
I do worry some maga nutjob is going to come after them. SO few ppl have had the courage to speak out. Bravo to them
