Ooof. That’s not a coincidence.
I could believe that the guy in charge believes that race had nothing to do with his choice, but if you choose to keep only the people you’ve worked with/that you like/that you know and they’re all white, then you have a bigger problem in your work place that you need to address.
Black women have statistically been hit the hardest by layoffs in the past half year or so.

This is so on point. Working there it was palpable that they thought POC were expendable and just temporarily filled spaces that were better served by their buddies. Either you were let go along with every other POC or heavily underpaid and overlooked.
They made it incredibly easy to file a massive discrimination lawsuit. I know everyone is stupid now, but just because Trump is president doesn’t mean you can flout laws we’ve had on the books for decades.
