Rosie O’Donnell’s daughter, Chelsea, has a challenging road ahead.

    On Wednesday, October 29, the comedian, 63, took to Instagram to share a snap of Chelsea as a young girl alongside a heartbreaking caption.

    “my child chelsea belle – before addiction took over her life – i loved her then i love her now as she faces a scary future- prayers welcomed- #addiction awareness #love #family,” O’Donnell captioned the photo.

    Friends took to the comment section to send support to the The Rosie Show alum.

    Reality TV personality Jo Frost commented, “Love always darling ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.”

    “thank u jo” O’Donnell responded.

    Actress Ricki Lake commented multiple prayer hands emojis, as did TV host Loni Love.

    Following three arrests last year — a September drug possession and child neglect charge, an October drug charge and a November drug charge — Chelsea received six years of probation in January 2025, according to Us Weekly.

    However, Chelesa violated her parole and was sentenced to prison time on Wednesday, October 22, in Wisconsin, according to court records obtained by the outlet.

    The View alum shared a statement about the situation with Us Weekly.

    “I have compassion for those struggling with addiction – chelsea was born into addiction and it has been a painful journey for her and her children,” O’Donnell said via the statement. “We continue to love and support her through these horrible times. prayers welcomed. ”
