Why Taylor Swift is hiding at NFL games, Meghan Markle & Prince Harry at World Series | P6 Headlines
Taylor Swift may be in the stands, but this season she’s keeping things a little more low-key. We’ve got more on why she’s staying under the radar at fiance Travis Kelce’s NFL games in today’s Page 6 headlines. So, Taylor’s not hiding out because of drama with the NFL or Kelsey’s stats, but because of security concerns, sources tell the Daily Mail that she’s been feeling the need for extra protection after dealing with stalker issues. She reportedly wants to keep her whereabouts private for her safety and her loved ones. And while she hasn’t asked TV networks to stop showing her, Swift has made a natural progression towards being less visible this season. Still, cameras caught her swooning when Kelsey scored his 100th career touchdown. A major milestone that only four tight ends have ever reached. Looks like Taylor’s just trying to cheer in peace and keeping her game day sparkle a little more private. Meanwhile, across the sports world, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are causing buzz, not for their royal status, but for their seats. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stirred up some serious fan fury when they scored front row seats at game four of the World Series right in front of Los Angeles Lakers legend Magic Johnson and Hall of Famer Sandy Kofax. Social media lit up with outrage with one fan writing, “Those two nobody sat in front of Kofax. Somebody paid someone off. But despite the backlash, the couple was all smiles, chatting with Kofax, posing for pics with Magic and Cookie Johnson, and rocking matching blue Dodgers caps for their royal date night. So, yes, there were booze from the crowd, but Harry and Megan still managed to make their World Series their own home run moment. And finally, Andy Conn is getting real about his very close relationship with John Mayer. And let’s just say things got a little physical. On Call Her Daddy, the Bravo boss told host Alex Cooper that after dinner at the Sunset Tower, things got touchy. Literally, I was getting so physical with him by the end that he was like, “Andy.” Cohen laughed, adding that the two ended the night in a puddle of laughter. He insisted they’re not romantically involved, just deeply affectionate, joking, if I could find a gay guy that was him, it would be magic. Mayor, for his part, has defended their friendship, too, saying it proves that people can understand platonic love between a gay man and a straight man. So, no, they’re not dating. Just redefining what modern male friendship can look like, one flirty night at a time. Winning, real winning isn’t polished. It’s bruised. Play at the plate. He scores from first. It’s messy. He’s out. It’s imperfect. Anyone but you. That’s what some World Series fans were saying when actress Sydney Sweeney unexpectedly appeared during Fox’s pregame coverage of game four. The euphoria and White Lotus star was tapped to voice the official introduction to the game between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Toronto Blue Jays. And let’s just say fans were divided. Dressed in a striking red mini dress and matching pumps, Sweeney delivered a dramatic Hollywood style monologue. Let’s just save the Hollywood for the ending. Welcome to game four of the World Series on Fox. The reaction online, immediate and intense. One viewer asked, “Why is Sydney Sweeney narrating the World Series intro?” Another posted, “Who invited you?” Some even said her tone felt creepy. While others questioned why an actress, not an athlete, was chosen for the spot. Sweeney herself attended the game, sharing photos on Instagram alongside Christy Martin, the real life boxer she’s portraying. in her upcoming biopic, Christy. But not everyone was upset. Plenty of fans came to her defense and even praised Fox for the bold choice. One post read, “Sydney Sweeney is the best part of this world series, honestly.” Another said, “Give Fox all the Emmys for that intro.” So, what’s behind all the buzz? Well, Sweeny’s public image has been polarizing for a while. Back in 2022, a birthday party for her mom sparked controversy over its MAGA theme. Then in 2025, an American Eagle ad campaign for her jeans collaboration was accused of pushing Nazi propaganda after the slogan Sydney Sweeney has great jeans was crossed out and rewritten as jeans. The actress stayed quiet through the backlash, but the episode reignited debate over her political leanings, especially after records confirmed she’s registered as a Republican in Florida. So when Fox chose Sweeney to open game four, it wasn’t just about baseball. It became another flash point in the ongoing conversation about celebrity, politics, and public image. Getting to spend 7 years of my time on SNL with you. One of life’s greatest gifts. Um, it’s not the easiest place to work, but you were such a huge gift. The sketches, they come, they go, they’re really fun, they can be hard, they can be things you’re not into, whatever. Ego Wodm is breaking her silence on her exit from Saturday Night Live, and she threw subtle shade at the show’s challenging onset dynamic. It all went down on Ego’s podcast, Thanks Dad, where she welcomed fellow SNL alum and best friend Heidi Gardner. The two comedians were behind several viral characters and sketches over the years. Lisa from Tmacula got Pedro Pascal to break. This dog, this dog followed me home. I’m about to tear this thing up. And Heidi couldn’t contain herself in this Beus and Butad sketch, which garnered 24 million YouTube views. [Applause] “The extras held tighter than the cast,” quipped one commenter. “With eight seasons under her belt, Heidi was the longest tenur female cast member before her shocking exit. While she has not publicly spoken about why she left, the post reported that her contract was not renewed. Now on her BFF’s pod, she’s opening up about the competitive nature of the famed NBC show. There weren’t a lot of times when we were able to like succeed in the way we wanted at the exact same time. I I remember just so many times being like, why can’t we both be winning together at the same time? Ego and Heidi were two of five cast members who didn’t return in the season 51 Bloodbath along with Devin Walker, Emil We, and Michael Longfellow. While not an official cast member, John Higgins, one-third of the Please Don’t Destroy Digital Shorts team also left the show. His teammate Ben Marshall was promoted to the cast along with four others. Challenges aside, Ego called getting to work with Heidi one of life’s greatest gifts. said the two formed a really deep, really fast friendship on the show and that she’s so grateful for that time. So maybe a buddy comedy is in their future. Let us know what you think about this season’s shakeups and the new cast in the comments below. Hi. So, obviously I’m not in the ballroom. I injured my ribs during Defying Gravity and today they just seized up and I couldn’t move. Um, they brought me to the hospital, but the doctor has said with a day or two of rest, I should be able to continue. And that’s exactly what I want to do. I want to dance. I want to keep doing this. So, um, Allan is holding down the fort. He’s amazing. He’s awesome. I was so excited for this routine. You’ll get to see it in its rehearsal form. And just know that I love you all. Thank you for the support. Please vote for us cuz I want to see you next week. [Music] Ela and I were dancing and all of a sudden Elaine kind of froze and said she can’t move and she can’t breathe and something happened with her rib. I feel like my muscle is twisted under my ribs. She’s in so much pain that I don’t know if we’re going to dance tonight. It’s just a lot of unknowns right now. You guys, first let’s talk about these costumes. Absolutely incredible. I think it’s an a testament to the wonderful hair and makeup team. Let’s talk about the creativity that went into this week’s whole look. Yes. So, uh, when we knew it was going to be one hit wonders night, uh, there was only one song that I wanted and that was Mickey. There was only one person I wanted to meet. That was Tony Basil. And there was only one. Yeah. And um there was only one costume I wanted to wear. So it was just it’s a dream come true. I love this about Elaine. She has ideas and she’s like, “I really want to do this.” And I’m like, “Yes.” I love that you care so much. I love that she has her own ideas. She’s like, “I was a cheerleader. Mickey in the music video. They’re cheerleaders. We’re going to be cheerleaders.” And I was like, “Yes, give me some pom poms.” No, it was so perfect. You pulled it off so great. You got incredible feedback from the judges. What was that like? You know, when you’re in here, there is just so much swirling at you that like I’m standing there just really trying to focus as I’m trying to catch my breath. I respect them so much. I love to hear both the the positive amazing things that they’re saying as well as like the feedback that we’re getting on things that I can improve. So, I just I love it all. And former cheerleader, you got to pull out those moves on the stage again. I’m sure that was so amazing. Did it bring you back to those high school days? I mean, yeah, it did. It’s also like I mean, this whole thing does. It’s also like that was was an entire lifetime ago. So, I’m just, you know, like pulling pulling out the pom poms, dusting them off, and going to it. Yeah. And no big deal. But you had a true icon come to your rehearsals. Can we talk about that a little bit more? What was that experience like? I think Elaine was more nervous for that in the show. Yes, I was. I really was. I asked them. I said, “I would really love for Tony to come to our rehearsal.” And they’re like, “Call her up.” And I’m like, “Okay, I will.” And so I did. And she came. And that was just like a dream come true. And she and I actually have a lot of um touch points. And I can’t believe it took Dancing with the Stars to actually get us together. It’s crazy. Yeah. We make dancing Dancing with the Stars. We make dreams come true. Yeah. It’s true. It’s true. Speaking of dreams come true, you guys pulled off a pretty epic superstar reprise with the cast. How did you guys pull that off? Honestly, begging them to be in it. Everyone’s everyone’s working so hard. We’re like, get can we do a quick TikTok? They’re like, yes, what do we have to do? And then they love it. But, you know, it’s it’s a lot of work doing Tik Toks and dancing and we’re just everyone in the cast is so fun and so we have such a good time. So, everyone’s just so happy to be in each other’s Tik Toks. And next week, first ever Dancing with the Stars Tik Tok night. We’ve never done this before. So, what can you tell us? What is the night going to entail? I mean, it’s going to entail incredible music. Y, I think incredible more costumes, moments that live on Tik Tok forever. Fire. It’s going to be fire. Yeah. I don’t know what to expect though cuz it is the first time. It is. But is there anything you can tease about the dance you’re going to be doing or is there going to be like a Tik Tok trend specifically? I don’t think here’s the thing. I don’t think you can do trends cuz they’re IP. That’s true. But I think it’s going to be heavily inspired either the music or or maybe some people can do trends. We don’t know. We also don’t know what anyone else is doing. But we’re going to do a very we’re going to use a different word. We’re bringing some edge to the ballroom. Edgy dance. Okay. Okay. I can’t wait to see it. Thank you guys. Relax tonight. Enjoy. No, we’re fine. Listen, this is I’m soaking up every single second of this. So, thank you. Yes. And I’m sure you are relieved that the first show is out of the way. The nerves, the excitement. How did it feel to know how show one works and now you can move on to week two? Yes. It’s so many moving pieces. You never know what’s going to happen, but once it’s done, it’s just it’s exhilarating. I mean, what a day. What a process. All of it. I think you can practice and try to like emulate what it feels like, but nothing feels like it. So, to do the first one and nail it like that, it just it reassures me and it makes me very happy. Yeah, absolutely. And listen, we were so excited to see you on the cast lineup. I mean, Alan, what was your reaction when you knew you were going to be partnered with I mean, she’s an icon. She’s played so many iconic roles, but above that, she’s just such a good person. And I get to know I get to learn about her every single day, and I’m impressed every single day. And look, we loved those Parent Trap references tonight. We saw those. Whose idea was that? Was that a collaborative effort? It was collaborative for sure. It was collaborative, but this guy is such a great choreographer and a teacher. He really like knows how to do things for me, and that’s critical. I mean, we wouldn’t be able to go do what we just did had he had he not like be able to pay attention like that. So, it’s it’s kudos to Allan. Absolutely. And I know you had some pals in the audience tonight. What did their support mean to you? And who else from the parent trap cast can we maybe see in the ballroom this season? So, my bestie Lisa Anne Walter was there and she literally got um Abbott Elementary to swap the schedule so she could make it. Yes. So big love. I mean, she’s my big love anyway. Um, Ellen is my life is my show security blanket. Lisa is my life security blanket. So, it just helped calm my system. And every time I’m around her, I’m like, “Don’t make me cry. Don’t make me cry.” So, she showed up. I’m like, “Don’t make me cry. I got to go on stage.” And um it it just meant the world to me. And, you know, I I’ve had a long career. I’ve worked with a lot of incredible people. And quite honestly, I’m pulling out all the stops. I’m calling everyone, come to the show, send videos, tell people to vote cuz I don’t want to leave. I’m having a blast. Yeah. And lastly, I know fans have been begging, asking. So, I have to ask Parent Trap sequel. What What do we have to do to officially get that in the works? What needs to happen? You know, I think people need to keep uh keep making it really vocal. That’s what happened. Jamie Lee was able Jaime Lee Curtis was able to go to Disney and show all how all these people had been asking about it and they were like, “Oh, okay. Yes.” And then Freakier Friday happened. So, I think it’s really up to the fans. Um, and cuz we all we’re all like, “Yes, we we’d show up. I mean, I I don’t know exactly how you bring Meredith Blake back, but we’ll find a way. I’m f I’m for it.” Yes. Yes. And more Yes. You know what? A cameo by your new dance partner. You know what? There’s got to be a dance scene.
