But seriously, as someone who probably will need a kidney transplant someday, hats off to him. The need for donors is always high so anytime someone can help, it’s a good thing.

Good for him! I definitely offered to donate to a friend after she learned she had kidney cancer but she thankfully only needed around 10% of one kidney removed. She was getting an unrelated ultrasound for her gallbladder and they found a small mass on her kidney that ended up being cancer. It was so early that her outcome has been great.
My mom received a kidney transplant from my aunt, donating a kidney is not an easy thing to do! My aunt’s recovery time from donating was slightly longer than my mom’s was.
Yea could never be me lol, unless they were a kid or proven to be a good person I’d never give a kidney to a random person.
