Prince Andrew Removed From Home by King Charles After Giving Up Title | E! News

    Prince Andrew is no longer going to be a prince. King Charles III announces he’ll be formally stripping his younger brother of his royal title. With Buckingham Palace saying in a statement October 30th, “His majesty has today initiated a formal process to remove the style, titles, and honors of Prince Andrew. Prince Andrew will now be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor.” The palace goes on to share that in addition to no longer being a prince, Andrew will also be officially removed from his royal residence, saying his lease on Royal Lodge has to date provided him with legal protection to continue in residence. Formal notice has now been served to surrender the lease and he will move to alternative private accommodation. The statement acknowledges that while Andrew has denied the accusations against him related to his association with late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, the palace believes, quote, “These censures are deemed necessary.     1. Deny the accusations, but this is for something you didn’t do or said you didn’t do. This is a lot of punishment, but this doesn’t remove him from the line of succession.
