People defending this are using really amazing logic. By their admission, we should allow other graphic costumes depicting historical events or real people because āenough time has passed.ā Think critically about this statement for a second and realize what floodgates youāre opening with this mentality. There is no question that this is in poor taste, just like the Amy Winehouse cake.
My personal feelings are If you are trying to be subversive and get press, don’t pussyfoot around with already poorly done joke costumes. That being said, Julia Fox is already as subversive and creative as wonder bread so this bottom barrel stunt is on par with with I’d expect.
