Ryan Seacrest Shares Dad Gary Lee Seacrest Died | E! News

Ryan Serest revealing tragic news. His father Gary has died following a battle with prostate cancer. In a touching tribute, the American Idol host shared his loss with fans on Instagram October 31st, saying his dad peacefully passed away earlier this week. Alongside pics of Gary with his family, Ryan wrote, “They have peace knowing he is in a better place and free of any pain or suffering. We are heartbroken this coming months after Ryan took to his on air radio show revealing his dad’s health battle with fans for the first time. So my dad is about 80 years old and I have a very close relationship with my father and my father was diagnosed with prostate cancer years ago and started his treatment and he uh it didn’t get better. It it got worse and it spread. Ryan wrapping up his tribute Friday with another emotional message. Quote, “He was a devoted husband for 56 years. An incredible papa to Flora and my best friend. Dad, you will live in our hearts forever. I love you, Ryan. [Music]
