The actor visits the Late Show with Steven Colbear and says he boldly asked for his birthday off while filming the Steven Spielberg movie. It was my birthday on May 31st and we were shooting and I begged production of 120 what who did I think I was of $120 million film if they would not have me working on my birthday and and yeah I know how sweet and they went yeah we’ll we’ll see what we can do. Turns out the night before Colin went on a bday bender and was feeling less than well in the morning. So he showed up to set and had to shoot a scene with Tom and his hangover made him need a doover on one of his lines lots of times. I will never forget the line that I had that I couldn’t get out. It was, I’m sure you’ve all grasped the fundamental paradox of pre-rime methodology. He did 46 takes. Tom wasn’t very happy with me. Oh no. Tomov was not what he did. He pulled a gun on it back then at the end of the tank right there. Colin calls the moment one of the worst days he’s ever had on a film set. And the actor, who has been open about his battle with drugs and alcohol in the past, has been sober since 2005. [Music]

Indeed, it was probably very frustrating for Tom and the whole team on the set to do the scene again and again because he was hungover. It's a lack of professionalism but I am sure at 100% Tom is very proud of Colin for his self improvement and all since then.
