Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been handed a stark warning in the wake of Andrew’s recent developments.
Buckingham Palace confirmed on Thursday that the disgraced Duke has been stripped of his Royal titles and honors by King Charles following his association with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
The fallen royal, whose ties to convicted sex offender financier Jeffrey Epstein precipitated his disgrace, will essentially hold the rank of a private citizen and will be referred to as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
Andrew possessed a “cast-iron” lease for Royal Lodge, and only following discussions with the King’s advisors did he consent to file official notice on Thursday to relinquish the lease, which had over 50 years remaining.
A Royal expert has now indicated that the King’s ruling concerning Andrew’s Royal titles might serve as a cautionary signal for what lies ahead for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
She elaborated: “If William can have convinced the infamously conflict-averse Charles to renounce his own brother – well, Harry’s days as prince and Duke of Sussex are surely numbered.
Ms. Callahan suggested that Prince William’s ascension to the throne could spell trouble for Harry and Meghan, likening Andrew to a “pawn removed by William to clear the way for his real target: Harry.”
