Is it just me or are palm tattoos trashy?

Even if they are not, I am using my hands all day I would get sooo distracted if this was etched into my palm.

Surely there was a better placement for these? While the gesture is sweet, these are going to age like milk. It will take many, many touch ups to get the ink to stay – palms are notoriously hard to tattoo.
