I’m curious about what her sound is gonna be like. Every time she’s tried a comeback, it’s always been wildly different. Dignity in the late 00s was very 00s pop with a little edge. All About You was closer to her OG vibe but didn’t have an album, and then her 2015 album was…different.
The sound of pop has changed so much since then that I don’t know if she’ll try to go the semi-folk route like Aly and AJ, try to stick to 00s pop to a limited market or try to match whatever the new era’s called.
Lizzie McGuire was the first Disney show I fell in love with; Metamorphosis was one of the CDs I vividly remember from my childhood. Hilary Duff has never let me down and I’m so glad that her and Brenda Song are each having their renaissance period.
Now, if only Disney can give us our Lizzie reboot back now that Disney+ has absorbed Hulu.
