"Chloe Malle, Vogue’s head of editorial content, who was appointed to the role in September, will now oversee Teen Vogue. Editor-in-chief Versha Sharma will be leaving the company."

Edit: From TV writer Lex McMenamin via Bluesky:

I was laid off from Teen Vogue today along with multiple other staffers, and today is my last day.

certainly more to come from me when the dust has settled more, but to my knowledge, after today, there will be no politics staffers at Teen Vogue.

    1. Over the past decade they’ve really taken a lot of media that specifically catered to teens, that there’s so little left, not to mention the lack of true 3rd spaces for teens. Teen Vogue has been so good the past few years and I do think the quality of its current iteration in terms of stories and features will go down 🙁

Bummer! It had really distinguished itself as a unique voice, a worthwhile read. I am a 60 yo man and have purchased copies of teen vogue, never once a copy of vogue.

    3. I wish I kept my old teen vogues from the 2010s I used to read those cover to cover 🥲

Nooo teen vogue was doing the lords work for a really long time. And the lay offs they did today. I’m very concerned for legitimate journalism these days

Beyond how terrible it is that people are losing their jobs, the most interesting articles regarding politics came precisely from Teen Vogue, so this really sucks.
