According to a new report from the Daily Mail, Millie Bobby Brown has allegedly accused her co-star David Harbor of bullying and harassment on set. The report claims that Brown, who plays 11, filed a lengthy complaint against Harbor before filming began on the show’s highly anticipated fifth and final season. A source told the outlet, quote, Millie Bobby Brown filed a harassment and bullying claim before they started shooting the last season. There were pages and pages of accusations. The investigation went on for months. Harbor, who’s 50, reportedly faced an internal investigation by Netflix following the complaint. However, the outcome of that inquiry remains unclear. According to the report, Brown, now 21, even brought a personal representative with her while filming the finale. It’s important to note that Harbor was not accused of any sexual misconduct in the complaint. In Stranger Things, Brown and Harbor share a close on-screen relationship. She plays 11 and he portrays Jim Hopper, her adoptive father figure. Over the years, Harbor has spoken warmly about his bond with Brown. Back in 2021, he told the That Scene with Dan Patrick podcast that he felt protective of her. I have a real protective feeling for her. I have a real like, you know, worry about her. I worry about her and the fame and all that she has to struggle with. Their relationship reportedly began when Brown was just 12 years old and Harbor was 41 at the start of the series in 2016. The allegations against Harbor come at a difficult time personally. The actor recently split from his wife, singer Lily Allen, after 4 years of marriage. Reports suggest the breakup was due to Harbor’s alleged infidelity, something Allen appeared to hint at in her new album West End Girl, released on October 24th. In one song titled Dallas Major, she sings about a relationship being open when her partner went astray and was living a double life. There’s also been speculation that Harbor had an affair with costume designer Natalie Tippet. Despite the turmoil, sources claimed that Lily Allen stood by Harbor during the internal investigation, calling it a brutal time.
