Miles Teller’s viral ‘SNL’ moments, Ramy Youssef spoofs Zohran Mamdani
Yes. Delicious. You like this? Is there anything for me? Ah, yes, of course. For the man. Maybe you salad. It’s a salad. Miles Teller threw it all out there for his second time hosting SNL. He played a flirty Italian waiter, another Italian, Andrew Cuomo, and not one but two Property Brothers. Page Six has all the moments everyone’s talking about right here. First up, this Italian restaurant sketch might not be getting five stars on Yelp. Some viewers called out the use of ethnic stereotypes, while others noted it was way too similar to a classic sketch from the ‘9s where the Italian weight staff manhandles host Kirsty Alley. Hey, hey, hey, look. Hey, come on. Hey. Hey. All right. But back to Miles Teller. The Top Gun Maverick star kicked off the November 1st episode of Saturday Night Live by playing former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo in the NYC mayoral debate Cold Open. yada yada yada Hong Kong squeeze squeeze. But it was guest star and past host Rammy Yousef who stole the show as Democratic Socialist and front runner Zoran Mdani. Why don’t you hit me up at the ballot box, girl? Turns out the two are buddies IRL and there was nothing but love about the impression. They even facetimed about it. Is that my tie? I mean, it’s pretty close. Social media called it just epic and said that Zoron smile was spoton dimples and all. However, one ex user pointed out it would be convenient if there was a Middle Eastern male cast member already. an apparent dig at the SNL 51 cast bloodbath. Five cast members left the show, including Emil Wim, whose dad is Lebanese. Meanwhile, others noted how the weekly NBC show struggles to keep up with today’s fast-paced political world. This Instagram comment got over 1500 likes. Am I the only one who thought the actual debates were funnier? She’s got a point. During the October 16th debate, this marijuana question went massively viral with each candidate giving a wildly different answer. Have you ever purchased anything in a cannabis shop? And if so, what did you buy? Mr. Mumani. I have I’ve purchased marijuana at a legal cannabis shop. Okay. Mr. Cuomo. No. Mr. Slew. Uh, when I was shot five times, I’ve had Crohn’s disease. I did use medical marijuana. Yes. Hard to beat that. On SNL, Republican candidate Curtis Siwa was played by another guest star, Shane Gillis, who’s also no stranger to controversy. Gillis was originally cast on SNL in 2019, but was fired just 4 days later when his racist anti-Asian podcast jokes made headlines. His comedy career didn’t end there, though. Gillis got a Netflix show Tires in 2024 and returned to SNL twice to host. So, it looks like there’s no hard feelings. And finally, this White House makeover sketch quickly racked up millions of views on YouTube. Miles Teller played both property brothers put in charge of Trump’s controversial $300 million east-wing demolition and ballroom renovation. All during a government shutdown with no end in sight. Your Property Brother. Nice to meet you. So, which one of you is married to New Girl and which one of you’s the gay? I’m married to New Girl. One half of the Property Brothers, Jonathan Scott, is indeed engaged to New Girl alum Zoe Des Chanel. His twin, Drew Scott, is not gay. He’s married to Linda Fan. While neither HGTV star has yet to chime in on the impression, Jonathan Scott did react last time the Bros were parodyied back in 2017. Haha, I guess I retire now. Thanks, NBC and Ryan Gosling.
