LACMA Art + Film Gala 2025 : Demi Moore, Kaia Gerber, Cindy Crawford & more | Currently Trending

Much like its east coast counterpart, the Met Gala, the annual Lakma Art and Film Gala raises money for its namesake museum. It’s also a similarly star-studded affair and a serious fashion spectacle. Given the Suare is sponsored by Gucci, it’s no surprise that many of the celebs in attendance Saturday night were dressed by the luxury label. And today on Currently Trending, we’re taking a closer look at some of the best style moments of the night. Demi Moore definitely won the red carpet in this sheer Gucci halter gown covered with colorful floral embellishments. The craftsmanship on this piece is absolutely gorgeous and proof that a naked dress can look truly sophisticated. I also couldn’t get enough of Elle Fanning’s stunning baby blue lace Gucci gown and matching feathered coat. That icy color is a perfect fit for her skin tone and hair. It’s giving Cinderella or maybe Queen Elsa. Cindy Crawford and Kaia Gerber looked more like sisters than mother and daughter in their glam bootcci gowns. Kaioa went for liquidlike red sequins while Cindy was glowing in gold. Those supermodel jeans are really something. Angela Basset always looks regal and she was respplendant in the chartreuse Gucci number dripping from top to bottom with beaded fringe. You just know this is one dress that looks even better IRL than in photos. Cynthia Arivo loves a little red carpet drama and the Scaparelli Oak Couture gown definitely delivered in line with the label Surrealist Mo. It’s embroidered with handpainted open eyes and finished with a sweeping tulle cape. Cynthia’s silver metal clutch featuring a pierced mouth was the perfect finishing touch. Lord also opted for something besides Gucci, showing up in this incredible Italier Versace look featuring a gold corset top and brown silk skirt. A backwards necklace made up of the house’s signature Medusa medallions surely made for a dramatic exit. Tessa Thompson rarely puts a foot wrong on the red carpet, and this intricate silver Gucci gown that must have weighed at least 30 lbs, was yet another winner. And finally, nobody does a daring dress like Doicat, who did her best Marilyn Monroe impression, or perhaps it was Madonna, in this plunging gold sequin Gucci gown paired with a platinum blonde wig and dazzling yellow diamond necklace from Jacob and Co.
