Kindness, humanity and empathy certainly deserves a standing ovation.
She along with Palestinians & others who’ve spoken up to oppose atrociousities of all kinds for all groups of people should always be recognized above trivialities.
As an aside that dress is not only beautifully elegant but so incredibly meaningful.

I just found out who she was like…a year and a half ago (when she got attacked over a post saying families look different sometimes for Pride Month) and now, after her dedication and consistency and love and empathy and efforts, I *love* her and am among the Protect Ms. Rachel club.
What a beautiful, empathetic person. Telling and sharing these important stories.
