This is exactly why I couldn’t be a canvasser lol I’d go to hell too fast.. that would’ve set me off to grab a bullhorn & proclaim to the community to “hide your kids, hide your wives, hide your husbands bc Cuomo supporters are going to be out here assaulting everybody”
I went canvassing for Zohran in the UWS on Sunday (great experience w/ great people) but during our brief in the park beforehand, a cuomo supporter joined the back of the group and started booing us. so lame
Chelsea is a gem and the Financial Diet is an unnaturally soothing and yet informative space in a sea of bullshit. It doesn’t surprise me that there are some actual fucking ghouls working for his campaign but it’s so dystopian that good citizens have to face that kind of harassment for engaging in democracy. Hopefully that dogshit Cuomo will take the rest of the trash with him.

I remember in another post or video about these instances, she said she was willing to go “bob to bob” with these women 😂 Chelsea is great.
One of my friends was scared of this happening, but she canvassed anyway. She said they encountered just one loser yelling at them, but otherwise had an amazing time. So… those assholes have failed in so many ways.
On the flip side I saw someone mention yesterday they ran into a Cuomo campaigner passing out flyers who was just saying, “look you can throw these in the trash if you want”
I used for canvass when I was a kid and the way grown men would shout at a 14 and 12 year old was disgraceful.
I could never be a canvasser. Respect to the person who took their kid. I think it’s important to show kids what participation in the political process. But respectfully if you talk to my kid like that I’m breaking your jaw.
But shout out to all the canvassers. They were out in force by me and I enjoyed saying I vote for Mamdani the moment early voting opened.

I had lunch a few times up there a few weeks ago and the Cuomo girls were openly islamaphobic. Awful, awful people
They are throwing tantrums because they can feel the tide changing. And funny thing is trump is so in your face about his fascism its waking people up. My own parents are Canadian conservative and are actually spouting more left wing ideas since he came into office.
