Joanna Krupa chats with Page Six Radio about returning to ‘RHOM’ | Page Six Radio

When the reboot came into play, I think it was 2021 when it returned, were there ever any discussions? Did you ever entertain any talks about potentially coming back? Were you approached about that or did they kind of know to leave you alone or what was the situation there? Cuz I was I was secretly hoping that you would come back. Uh I was approached. I did have conversations about it. They asked me to, you know, to think about it. But being a mother, I feel like it’s not the time in my life. Like, would I be against reality world? Not at all. Would I be against this type of reality? Yes. I wouldn’t want my daughter to see mama in that kind of a situation because those shows are dramatic. If you have no drama, you’re boring and you’re going to get cancelled. So, we all know these women will go out of their way even if there was their best friend at one moment. They will backstab them eventually. They will go below the belt eventually. So, it’s no, it’s not something I aspired to be. And I don’t want my daughter uh to experience uh her mom like that back in the day when I did it. Great. You know, back, you know, that chapter’s been gone long time. Yeah. Um but definitely not something I would revisit. You know, reality world, I get it. Um, you know, I’m a person that, um, you know, definitely been always open to reality world, but not this type of, uh, reality world. Yeah. You want to protect your peace. I’m satisfied with my life. I’m very grateful uh, for, you know, for my projects, for my um, you know, for my TV show in Poland. I mean, basically, you know, it’s it’s a show that I’ve been doing for 14 years. It brought other opened other doors for me where I have my own perfume line. I have other things I’m working on. So, I’m definitely content when it comes to I don’t need a show like Miami to pay my bills, you know, and I’m not going to go under the belt uh because of that. I’m not going to sell my soul um to make a living like that. It’s just not, you know, hey, great to anybody that does it, but I’m at definitely different point uh in my life.

Joanna Krupa is opening up about why she turned down the opportunity to return to “The Real Housewives of Miami” when the series was revived in 2021 — and how she’s found more meaningful work with her new animal rescue show.

“I was approached. I did have conversations about it,” Krupa recently told Page Six Radio on SiriusXM while promoting her new project, “Street Rescue.” “They asked me to think about it. But being a mother, I feel like it’s not the time in my life.”

Krupa, 45, explained that while she’s not opposed to reality TV altogether, rejoining a show as dramatic as “Real Housewives” didn’t feel right.

“Would I be against [the] reality [TV] world? Not at all. Would I be against this type of reality? Yes,” she said. “I wouldn’t want my daughter to see mama in that kind of a situation because those shows are dramatic.”
