Taylor Mson is opening up about her decision to leave Gossip Girl. Speaking with Alex Cooper on Caller Dowy November 5th, the former actress says it started with a I don’t want to do this anymore, but you’re in a lock and key contract with CW Warren Brothers. You know, all of that stuff. And it came down to it was a very long battle of me arguing everyone and going get me out of this. I can’t do this anymore. This is killing me. At the time, Tillard had formed her band, The Pretty Reckless, and realized she wanted to pursue music instead of acting. But the 32-year-old faced criticism while voicing her wants. You know, you’re called ungrateful and you’re call like all, you know, all the things that come along with, “How dare you turn your back on something that’s been so successful for you?” As for physically leaving the show, Taylor says she was lucky with the people who had her back. I knew I had to leave, but at the same time, leaving a career that is so prosperous and it was not easy. They essentially went, “Well, we can’t let you out of the contract because that’s not our job, but we can write you out of the show. We understand what you want, what you’re trying to do here. You’re not going to be able to act because you’re under contract. So, you can’t go take another job and join some other TV show or some other movie. [Music] [Music]

what is her point exactly? A contract is a contract…its as simple as that vampira. And it is a bit ungrateful indeed…you wouldn't have a shot at pursuing music if it were not for the fame you got off this show..so be a little humble and finish off your professional obligations to them first!
