    1. She’s missing the point. The *movie* she starts in sexualizes her in a way that feels demeaning.

    2. My biggest problem with this wasn’t that it wasn’t an accurate depiction, but that’s *all* the character was used for in the film. I felt the black female characters generally were one-note, which is a script and direction issue and not a performance issue. Perfidia’s novel counterpart is a fully realized character with interiority so it’s not like there wasn’t source material to draw from. It also felt like a missed opportunity for utilizing the amazing Regina Hall well

    4. I always perceived it that it was Lockjaw who sexualized her and she just used it to her personal benefit.
