According to the guild, the staffers terminated were Alma Avalle, digital producer at Bon Appetit; Jake Lahut, Wired senior reporter covering the Trump White House, Jasper Lo, senior fact checker at The New Yorker; and Ben Dewey, videographer at Condé Nast Entertainment.

    1. Did they actually storm Stan Duncan’s office in a “fit of rage”? That can get someone fired, even with a union. IF TRUE. Or did they just ruffle his feathers because they had the audacity to question him and they are using this as an excuse. I can imagine him telling them he didn’t want to talk to them, and then they would have to leave, and then saying “we’re not going to leave until we have had our say.” Then Stan says, “If you don’t leave we’ll call security.” And the employees said, “do whatever you want to do, we’re staying.” And then just went to shit. What were they upset about concerning the announcement itself, beyond the layoffs?

So…Conde Nast boycott then? Let’s make this decision hurt. I’ve always preferred Elle Magazine.

    3. I wish more people were talking about this. It’s insane, the video does not show fireable behavior.
