Benson Boone Forced to Cancel UK Concert Last Minute | E! News

Benson Boone is apologizing to fans. The singer abruptly cancels his concert in Birmingham, England, November 1st, just minutes before he’s set to take the stage. Writing on his Instagram stories, “Birmingham, I am so, so sorry, but I will not be able to perform tonight. I have tried everything I can to revive my voice, but I cannot give you the show I’d like to be able to give you with the condition of my throat right now.” And while Benson, who’s currently on his American Heart World Tour, shared the concert would be rescheduled, he still wanted fans to know how sorry he was. Going on to say, “This is genuinely the crappiest feeling. I promise you I will do everything in my power to make it up to you. Thank you for everything you do. I love you guys so much.” In addition to Benson, the venue for the show, Utilita Arena, then releases a statement of their own. apologizing to concert goers, saying, “We understand how disappointing this is and sincerely apologize for the extremely short notice and the inconvenience caused. We’re sending Benson our very best wishes for a speedy recovery.” It’s currently unknown if the 23-year-old will still be performing his next three shows, all set to take place in London, which will also mark the end of the UK leg of his tour.
