A-list actor undergoes dramatic transformation for upcoming Michael Jackson biopic

The Top Gun star stunned fans after a first look image from the film went viral this week, showing him with longer hair and noticeable prosthetics. The 38-year-old actor takes on the role of John Brana, Michael Jackson’s former attorney and manager in the highly anticipated film. Reactions online were instant. A trailer for Michael finally dropped this week after months of delays, giving fans a first glimpse into what promises to be a sweeping emotional journey through Jackson’s life. According to the official synopsis, the film traces Michael’s rise from child prodigy in the Jackson 5 to a global superstar, offering a look at both his artistry and the man behind the music. Michael Jackson passed away in 2009 at just 50 years old following a fatal overdose. Michael is set to moonwalk into theaters on April 24th, 2026. And if this first look is any indication, fans are in for quite the transformation, both on and offcreen.
