Prince George Joins Kate Middleton For Festival Of Remembrance In Surprise Appearance
Prince George has made his first appearance at the Festival of Remembrance. On Saturday, November 8th, the 12-year-old joined mom Kate Middleton and other members of the royal family at London’s Royal Albert Hall for the annual ceremony which honors military service members. The mother son duo sat next to King Charles, Queen Camila, and other royal family members in their box. Both the Princess of Wales and her son wore red poppy pins, a symbol to commemorate those who died in war. While accompanying his mom, Prince George was photographed being introduced to and speaking with guests at the venue. Meanwhile, Prince William was absent from the event as he was traveling back from Brazil after his trip to the COP30 UN climate change summit. However, the Prince of Wales did make it for Remembrance Sunday on November 9th, participating in the wreath laying ceremony at the Senate alongside his father and Prime Minister Kier Starmer. Kay also made an appearance on Sunday, this time without Prince George as she was spotted on the balcony alongside Queen Camila with both women wearing black ensembles accessorized with the red poppy pin and a hat. The Prince and Princess of Wales marked the events on their Instagram in a series of separate posts as they acknowledge the significance of the events. Each year it is an honor to take part in Remembrance Sunday at the Senate in London alongside other members of the royal family and in front of veterans and their families. Lest we forget, they captioned one of their posts. [Music]
