While Prince Andrew lost all of his titles, and many believed that the rest of his family would, his eldest daughter, Princess Beatrice, just got another major title under her belt.

Amid Andrew’s sexual abuse allegations, which were brought back to the forefront thanks to Virginia Giuffre’s posthumously-released memoir, NOBODY’S GIRL, she and Princess Eugenie made it clear where they stood: by leaving the country to do their own thing. And it seems that may have played in their favor.

Details obtained by DailyMail suggest that Beatrice is now the deputy patron of The Outward Bound Trust, a royal-beloved organization that encourages young people to spend more time outdoors.

Not only does this show the royal family is fine with the Princesses of York, but they’re also doing damage control.

Prince Philip was the Chairman and then worked as Patron of the Trust from 1953 til his retirement, to which Andrew took over the role. While he was Chairman of the Board of Trustees since 1999, he was forced to relinquish his ties to the Trust. And now, his eldest daughter, as well as her uncle Prince Edward, are the royal names behind it.

Beatrice joined the board of trustees in 2019, but now it seems she’s taking on a much bigger role; overshadowing her father’s previous work.

(And for those wondering, King George V’s Letters Patent of 1917 make it so Beatrice and Eugenie both remain princesses and continue to have the styling of Her Royal Highness!)
