Meghan Markle has revealed the exact date her Christmas special episode of “With Love, Meghan” will air on Netflix. The Duchess of Sussex confirmed today that the “Holiday Celebration” episode will hit screens on December 3rd.
However, this date may raise eyebrows as it clashes with a major event set to be held by King Charles. This is because The King and Queen Camilla will welcome the President of Germany for a state visit at Windsor Castle on that exact date.
This was confirmed by Buckingham Palace last month in a statement which read: “The President of Germany, accompanied by Frau Büdenbender, will pay a State Visit to the United Kingdom, hosted by His Majesty The King, from Wednesday 3rd December to Friday 5th December.”
The itinery of the state visit has not yet been confirmed, however it is believed December 3 – the same day as Meghan’s new Christmas episode hits the big screens – could be the main date for the usual royal pomp and pagentry, including a ceremonial welcome and a state visit.
Taking to Instagram to confirm her news on Monday, Meghan wrote: “Embrace traditions and make new ones this holiday season. With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration arrives December 3rd on @netflix.”
This episode is believed to be a special festive episode.
